WAKE UP (Pine-Richland)
(Prelude: Dyni asked me to be in his fake documentary of his rap group in 2015. It hasn't been made yet, but hopefully will at some point. He texted me this poem recently and wanted it on my website and I liked it because it was very charged and had a clear point.)
Rest With God to those lost too soon
Pine-Richland never cared once we hit the month of June
Fuck Olvais, it made us laugh about the bully
Darrelle the Barrel was funny, but we couldn’t understand the message fully!
We never thought once about mental health
No one ever cared about how someone felt
We were taught not to drink and drive, that’s how you lose lives
But the school was too scared to talk about suicide??!
This is a problem that must be recognized
I don’t want a FUCKING EMAIL when a loved one dies!
Show more love; give them a memorial
Take a day off school to pay respects at the burial
They didn’t care if a student went unknown
They didn’t care at lunch when they were sitting all alone
Darrell the barrel, the same mindset what’d ya figure?
Not a SINGLE teacher cared when the white kids called me nigga
Rest In Peace, Alex, may your spirit live forever
Pine Richland needs to cut the fucking bullshit and remember the loved ones we’ve lost
Because it’s truly a loss
Rest With God to all the victims of Pine-Richland’s flaws
