Ocean

The ocean is often used as a metaphor for good things because it can be so beautiful, but today I thought about how it could be a symbol for the devil. It's very big and real and scary. It has things you didn't know it had in it.  It takes things from you and doesn't care like sunglasses and beach towels during high tide. It's salty. It takes you out of your natural element. It can knock you over, move you to places you don't want to be, and it can pull you under. It can get rough when you don't suspect it. The moon affects what it does.  Most of all, it can be enticing and fun until it kills you. 

And it never stops.
